Hi we are Cornwall schoolboy scramble club, The club aim to give top class racing in and around the Cornwall area. The club was started in the early 70s to provide a safe place to discover the sport and is still very strong today, We welcome all new people to the sport and what with 2 new tracks this year to add to the list and the all new Fraddon moto parc being built for the club we have a lot to offer everyone wishing to race with Cornwall club. Our fixture list is packed this year with alot of great events and venues.

Cornwall SSC - Rd 8 Club Champ - Fraddon - 11th July - Report

Cornwall schoolboy scramble club returned to Fraddon Moto Park for round 8 of the 2010 summer championship. Fantastic weather a superb track and with many groups full the day was off to a great start.

The AMX first race of the meeting was underway with Nick Wadge being out front in seconds. Chapman Motorcycles, Sam Chapman on his brand new Honda was putting in maximum efforts to hang on to Wadge who was riding fantastically. Nick Wadge took first ahead of Sam Chapman and Leon Burt.
The AMX race two saw club championship contender Dan Wade out front with Wayne Back with Sam Chapman close behind. Wadey took an unfortunate fall and dropperd far down the ranks as he was unable to get his KXF started. The Chequred flag flew for Sam Chapman as he claimed a brilliant race win ahead of Leon Burt, whilst top 2 stroke of the pack Wayne Back claimed third.
The final race was under way and Saw Wayne Back to be the first rider launching out over the tracks first table top leading Nick Wadge, Leon Burt, Craig Dawe and Sam Chapman.
Wadey was seen well down the pack early on but it wasn't long until he was pushing up through the pack showing his strong speed. Nick Wadge took the race win securing second overall. Sam chapman took second but claimed the overall victory on the weekend. Wayne Back claimed third once more to take a solid fourth overall behind third overall Leon Burt. Dan Wade claimed fifth overall ahead of sixth overall Gary Down.

AMX Group B non championship race one was underway with Ben Griffths taking the race holeshot. Cornwalls free styling talented Guy Jacobs was out for his first race meeting of the year and was flat out every where leaving his bike smoking whilst hang around in fifth throughout the race. Ben Griffths took the race win ahead of Bill Farley and Peter Redford.
Race two was under way with race one winner Ben Griffths taking the holeshot leading the pack early on. Guy Jacobs was flying round the track whipping more stylish then anyone and was even saw showing his skills throwing out a heel clicker on the tracks far side table top. Later on Guy was seen get slammed to the ground hard after having sketched out. Guy was seen crawling in pain to his bike but once he got his leg back over his bike he was riding like nothing had happened continuing to ride flat out almost everywhere. Ben Griffths took the race win ahead of runner up Peter Redford and third spot Sam Nicholls.
The final race of the support class saw some brilliant racing throughout. Sam Nicholls raced better than ever to take the first spot securing overall victory. Bill Farley took second and second overall whilst Shaun Samson took third and third overall. Scott Rundle claimed fourth ahead of fifth and sixth overall BJ Briscoe and Richard Churchil.


A near full class of seniors rider displayed fast and furious racing throughout the weekend. First race was under way with Ben Denison being the first rider to fly over the first table top. The top 2 stroke rider in the pack Bradley Maddever was riding strong out front after Twinshock success the weekend before. Brad Bolitho took the race win ahead of Bradley Maddever whilst Ben Dennison claimed third. Tommy Alba took fourth.
Seniors second race saw race one winner Brad Bolitho take the race holeshot but Cornwall Kawasaki centre's Liam Curtis Stevens took to the lead in the start of the sand section.
Liam Curtis Stevens took the race win ahead of Bradley Maddever and Tommy Alba.
Seniors final race saw Brad Bolitho takek the race win ahead of Bradley Maddever and third sport Stuart Smith. Bradley Maddever took the overall victory. Brad Bolitho claimed second ahead of third Ben Denison. Jamie Orchard took fourth ahead of fifth and sixth Stuart Smith and Josh Taylor.

The big wheel 85cc first race was underway with Will Hawkins being the first rider over the first table top. Visiting rider Harry Sherman raced at a flat out past proving to make Hawkins Struggle to hang out front. Visiting rider Jarrad Perkins was well on the pace out front whilst club championship contender Jack Gribble falls down due to a back marker.
Jack Gribble And Will Hawkins were soon in a battle on there own this later Saw Harry hart take to second behind Sherman. The Chequerd flag flew as Harry Sherman took the race win ahead of second Harry Hart. Will and Jack went down on the last corner allowing Jamie Buckingham into third. Jack Gribble was fortunate to take fourth.
Race two was underway with Harry Sherman claiming the race holeshot. Will Hawkins was seen come down on the far side of the track. Gribble took to the lead. Will was then seen pull of track. The racing throughout the pack was fast and furious and everybody was riding to the best of there abilities. Jack Gribble pushed his limits to the maximum and took a successful win in the process.Harry Sherman took second ahead of Harry Hart who raced consistently.
Final race of the day was under way with Harry Sherman being the first over the table top. Matthew Winn had a fantastic start on his KTM 85 but was unable to stay close to the front as he started to drop back. Harry Sherman charged out front throughout the race taking the final race win and overall victory. Jack Gribble took second and second overall. Whilst consistency saw Harry Hart claim third and third overall. Visiting rider Connor Palmer raced well all day taking fourth overall ahead of Jarred Perkins.Whilst Jamie Buckingham took sixth.

Small wheel 85cc racing started off with Dean Symons taking the holeshot whilst Jake Curtis Stevens was dead last. Fourstroke 150 honda mounted Bill Gribble leads the pack early on. Whilst Joe Eiffert battles with Jack Perkins and Ben Roberts tears the track with Ben Gibbons. Bill Gribble took the race win ahead of Dean Symons and Jack Perkins who got the edge on Joe Eiffert.
Dean Symons was seen start the second race on his spare bike,this did not however stop him from claiming the race two holeshot. Jake Curtis Stevens was seen have a much improved start to in the previous race. Ollie Winn had a brilliant race further down the field riding really well throughout the race. Dean Symons was seen all over the back of Bill Gribble as he was clearing ever single jump. Despite this Dean was never able to take a pass. Bill Gribble took the race win leaving Dean to settle for a strong second. With Jack Perkins in third.
Race three was under way With Jake Curtis Stevens claiming the holeshot having his best start of the weekend. Jack Perkins raced stylishly through the race wheelieing up the tracks long straights. Bill Gribble lead Dean throughout the race taking the race win and first overall. With Dean taking second and second overall. A great days racing saw Joe Eiffert take fourth,behind Jack Perkins. Jake Curtis Stevens claimed fifth ahead of sixth overall Ben Gibbons.

Juniors race one saw Aidan Williams take the race holeshot. Louis Thomas was seen dropping it on the table top. Once Louis got going again he was charging through the back trying his best to catch up. Sam Johns stood out within the pack showing much improved riding. Aidan Williams took the race win ahead of Alfie Crocker And a great riding Henry Bees.
Race two was underway with Matthew Treen taking the holeshot. Todd Sawyer was flying up through the pack after his poor start. Aidan struggled to catch up whilst championship rival Alfie Crocker claimed the race win after leading the pack. Matthew Treen claimed second Ahead of Louis Thomas.
Louis Thomas had a great start in the final race of the day as he came flying out over the first table top. It wasn't long though until Aidan Williams took to the lead. Leo Kessel and Thomas Andrew ripped up the dirt as they competed in their own private battle. Whilst Henry bees rides strong throughout the race. Aidan Williams took the race win securing second overall. Alfie Crocker took second but came out top claiming overall victory. Henry bees had a great weekends riding and took third overall. Louis Thomas finished the weekend in third taking fifth overall. Behind fourth overall Matthew Treen. Whilst Callum Jago had another brilliant ride taking sixth overall.

The auto class saw Tyler Rowe out front early on. Morgan Timms was seen get out of shape forcing Louie Kessel to hit Morgans bike having no where to go. Tyler took the race win Ahead of Sam Hunt who took a fantastic second after a solid performance through the race. Louie Kessel came in to take third. Race one winner Tyler Rowe had a super start to the second race claiming the holeshot. Early on Tyler pulled a big lead on the rest of the riders. Tyler Rowe took the race win ahead of Louie Kessel and Sam Hunt.
Final race saw Tyler leading by the second lap.With Louie Kessel riding strong in second.
Tyler Rowe took the race win and overall Victory.Louie Kessel took second and second overall. Third was claimed by Sam Hunt who raced terrifically well all day. Morgan Timms took fourth overall. Whilst Archie Bees took fifth ahead of sixth overall Callum Jago.
